Amy Jo Miller is a Key Accounts Director at Customized Energy Solutions, where she partners with large commercial and industrial customers to navigate complex energy markets and develop strategic energy solutions that support business objectives. With more than 22 years of experience across the energy industry, Amy Jo is recognized for her expertise in energy markets, regulatory affairs, sustainability, risk management, and stakeholder engagement. Prior to joining Customized Energy Solutions, Amy Jo served as Senior Director of Policy & Market Strategy at Hanwha Renewables/Qcells, where she led solar, energy storage, natural gas, and data center policy and regulatory initiatives throughout the United States. She spearheaded the company's engagement with federal, state, utility, and ISO/RTO stakeholders, helping shape regulatory strategies that supported renewable energy development and market expansion. Previously, Amy Jo was Senior Manager of Energy Cost Management at Charter Communications, a Fortune 100 company, where she led strategic energy procurement, renewable energy initiatives, greenhouse gas reporting, and sustainability efforts. She managed risk strategies for deregulated energy markets, renewable power purchase agreements, utility compliance, and Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) reporting, while supporting Charter's commitment to achieving carbon neutrality by 2035. Amy Jo also held leadership positions at Ameren, where she developed and advanced regulatory policy strategies, managed enterprise risk initiatives, and represented company interests across regional energy markets. Her career additionally includes roles at MISO and ACES Power Marketing, providing her with extensive experience across wholesale energy markets, system operations, scheduling, settlements, customer relations, and regulatory affairs. A respected industry leader and public speaker, Amy Jo is known for her ability to simplify complex technical and regulatory issues and communicate them effectively to diverse audiences. She has a proven track record of leading high-performing teams, driving strategic initiatives, and building collaborative relationships that deliver measurable business results. Amy Jo served for more than three years on the Board of Directors for the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) and has held leadership roles with several nonprofit organizations, including serving as President of the Delta Gamma Housing Corporation and as a Board Member of Greater STL Connections to Success. Her accomplishments have been recognized through numerous honors, including being named one of the Top 50 Women Leaders of Missouri in 2022 and receiving a WRISE (Women of Renewable Industries and Sustainable Energy) Leadership, Mentorship, and Advocacy Award nomination in 2023. Amy Jo founded the Greater STL Area WRISE Chapter in 2025 and currently leads this Chapter still today. Amy Jo was also nominated for the 2026 ACP CLEANPOWER in Color Champion Award — recognizing professionals who take deliberate action to expand access to opportunity and uplift others in the clean energy community. Amy Jo earned her MBA from Anderson University and was recognized as the Outstanding Graduate of Indiana State University.
