El Mendoza is Director of Compliance at Cypress Creek Energy, where she leads the compliance function across the Solutions entity with 200 operational assets, spanning contractual and regulatory compliance.

El brings 13 years of experience in the energy and utilities sector. At Cypress Creek, she builds transparency and accountability into a framework, authoring the policy, standard work, and compliance management system that give scattered compliance requirements a single home. She leads with empathy and a continuous improvement mindset, grounded in a belief that compliance is not about checking a box. It is about doing the right thing, ethically and sustainably.

Originally from the Philippines, El is a committed advocate for representation in clean energy and a better future for the younger generation. She co-leads Cypress Creek's Women in Solutions affinity group and founded Pay It Forward for the Kids, an annual event supporting underserved children in her home province through fund raising effort and personal contributions. She was recognized in the WorldCC Inspiring Women 2024 by the WorldCC Foundation.
