Vanessa Benedetti is the Senior Director of Real Estate Services within the Development team at Vestas, the world’s largest wind turbine manufacturer. With 18 years in the wind industry, Vanessa’s expertise spans Construction, Service, Quality, and Process Improvement. Additionally, she’s led tactical efforts related to Factory & Office Real Estate transactions as well as Industry Tradeshows. She also spearheaded the creation of four Employee Resource Groups, including Women of Vestas, Vestas Military Veterans, United Vestas, and Vestas DEIB. In 2023, she was seconded by American Clean Power where she examined the Inflation Reduction Act's impact on the workforce connected to utility-scale wind operations.
Beyond her work at Vestas, Vanessa was selected to participate in the Unleash Program which unified global resources in support of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. She’s also a proud and loving wife and mother of an amazing son.
Vanessa holds a BS in Communications from Cal State Monterey Bay, an MBA from Chaminade University of Honolulu, and has completed DEI training through Cornell University.
