Danielle is a communications and stakeholder engagement leader at Atwell, where she helps guide complex power and energy projects through strategic communications, community engagement, and relationship building. She spent the first 12+ years of her career at Duke Energy in a variety of external-facing roles, building a career around connecting people, places, and projects and helping organizations navigate complex issues with clarity and trust.

Today, Danielle is also helping lead the development of Atwell’s BESS Fire Safety Program, an initiative focused on strengthening communication, education, and preparedness around battery energy storage projects. She brings a collaborative, people-centered approach to leadership and believes the best outcomes often come from creating space for candid conversation, shared learning, and different perspectives at the table.
