Maryssa is the Founder and CEO of BuildQ, an AI-native project services company accelerating how complex power and infrastructure projects are financed and built. By bringing project data and on-demand professional services together on one AI-enabled platform, BuildQ helps developers, investors, and lenders see risk sooner, reduce costly delays, and scale with confidence. To date, the company has supported more than 700 projects nationwide.
Maryssa founded BuildQ after experiencing firsthand how managing fragmented data, disconnected software, and a patchwork of outside providers slowed project teams down. Previously, she advised corporate energy buyers at Trio Advisory and LevelTen Energy and served as COO of an independent power producer focused on scaling distributed solar and battery storage portfolios. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University and a J.D. from Stanford Law School and is a licensed attorney in the District of Columbia.
