Mindy Prefling is co-founder and Managing Partner of root/edge, a boutique recruitment firm serving the energy transition and power infrastructure sectors. She has spent over ten years in the industry leading teams and building businesses.

Mindy also hosts and produces The Talent Current, a podcast she started as a passion project, both to practice her own thought leadership and to give women in the industry a platform to share theirs. She has been active in WRISE since 2016, participating on a local and national level in hosting events, moderating panels and facilitating workshops at the Leadership Forum.

Recruitment is her profession, but leadership and connecting people are her purpose. She is passionate about advancing women in leadership and building the WRISE community, in step with root/edge's mission to connect people to energize tomorrow.
