Whitney Wilson is the Senior Vice President, Operational Excellence at TerraForm Power, where she is responsible for lifecycle strategies, operational improvements, operational technology and AI integration, and technical financing strategies. Whitney joined TerraForm Power as part of the acquisition team from parent company Brookfield. Since the acquisition of TerraForm, Whitney has also held the positions of Head of Engineering; Vice President, Solar Operations; Vice President, Wind Operations; and Vice President, Asset Management. Whitney has more than 20 years of renewable energy experience, and has worked as an Owner, Operator, and Developer with Brookfield Renewable and TerraForm Power, as well as an Independent Engineer/Bank’s technical advisor, and owners engineer at AWS Truepower (now UL Solutions) and Black & Veatch. Although her primary areas of emphasis are wind and Solar, Whitney also has experience with battery storage, hydroelectric, biomass, and ethanol projects.

Whitney has a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Fort Hays State University and has Master’s studies in Electrical Engineering with a Power Systems Emphasis from Kansas State University.
