Constance Thompson, CCDP/AP, is a nationally recognized transformational equity and clean energy ecosystem leader, thought leader, and seasoned executive with more than 20 years of experience across Fortune 500 companies, Ivy League institutions, and leading U.S.based trade and professional associations.

She currently serves as the 2025–2027 President of Women of Renewable Industries and Sustainable Energy (WRISE), where she provides strategic governance leadership focused on organizational sustainability, industry engagement, and advancing the leadership, visibility, and success of women and those of diverse gender identities across the energy sector. As Board President, and in partnership with the Executive Director and Board of Directors, she is guiding WRISE’s continued evolution as the premier national platform and catalyst advancing the leadership, success, and community of women and those of diverse gender identities within the rapidly evolving clean energy sector.

Thompson is also the Founder and Principal of Transformational Equity, a strategic executive advisory and consultancy partnering with boards, executives, investors, companies, coalitions, and leading nonprofit organizations to design, institutionalize, and scale initiatives that embed equity into governance, inclusive clean energy market development, investment strategy, and workforce systems.

Previously, Thompson served as Senior Vice President of Equity and Justice at the American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE), where she developed, institutionalized, and scaled the ACORE Accelerate Initiative and pioneered national industry research advancing inclusive clean energy markets and equitable investment strategies.
