Megan Mascheri is the Executive Assistant at Women of Renewable Industries and Sustainable Energy. Megan provides support to the WRISE leadership team through organization, communication, and strategic coordination in close collaboration with the Executive Director and WRISE Board of Directors.

Before joining WRISE, Megan was a research assistant at Florida Atlantic University and the Center for Environmental Studies, where she led various projects related to the intersection of climate change and social science. While at FAU, she earned a Master’s Degree in Geosciences with concentrations on the mental and societal implications of climate change in coastal regions. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Environmental Science and Policy at the University of South Florida with a minor in Leadership and Public Service and a minor in Geographic Information Systems. During her undergraduate studies, Megan was awarded as a Fulbright Summer Institute Program Recipient, where she studied Global Climate Change at the University of Exeter in the United Kingdom.

Outside of work, you can find Megan reading, spending time with her cat, Mushy, and exploring New York and its diverse food and drink scene.
